A platform bemutatása
INHEAL’s ambition is to reach organizations associating elderly people in all V4 countries -outside of the selected partners and target groups, and inspire them to put into use the knowledge gathered and materials resultant developed.
Beyond the moral accountability to continuously share and encourage senior organizations in the partner's communities to use the products developed by the partners, the sustainability of the project results involves the maintaining the INHEAL online platform, which takes up the main intellectual output of the project - the methodology. Since INHEAL is truly inclined to serve as a model for V4 practices for health literacy, experts in health, caregivers, seniors can be later on invited to contribute to the content of the platform, as a means of developing a long-term strategy for tackling the issue of health literacy.
To enable remote transnational cooperation on health literacy INHEAL established this online platform, laying out the project’s aims, activities, and outputs in all the V4 languages and in English. The online platform is the long-lasting product of the project, which is supposed to raise awareness of the concept of health literacy and promote activities aimed at improving its levels among seniors.
Freely and universally accessible, the online platform is the main place for documenting and publishing the analyses and the methodology produced by the project partners in all the national partner languages and in English.
A section of the platform is dedicated for individual use of two major target groups (the caregivers and seniors). Elementary, fundamental and also detailed information, facts, figures about physical, mental and social well-being, healthy lifestyle means, comprehensive information on diseases that are developed, risks of self medication, and available healthcare services information in each of the partners' countries. Information about innovative methods such as e health, m-health etc and instructions also integrated since we believe it is necessary to take steps to raise this group’s skills and willingness to use the innovative methods of learning about and using the health systems in their respective countries.
INHEAL is inclined to serve as a model for V4 practices for health literacy. It is important to mention and specify that this platform is designed to come across as accessible and user friendly as possible for everyone, especially seniors.
The website is developed to be accessible, easily browsable, the interface is well designed and well thought. Photos/recordings from the project's meetings and the events could also be found in order the let visitors be informed of the fact that the content published on the platform is the result of a cooperation beyond borders, thought and worked on for several months.
This platform is expected to draw attention not only of seniors themselves but also of organizations related to the issue (senior homes, NGOs, public bodies) and encourage them to take steps to improve health literacy in their environments.
